Sometimes we have different types of skincare problems and we don’t find one product which can address most of them. We end up using 5-10 different products to treat each of them. It’s not very convenient and not pocket-friendly either!
Recently, I got to know about SKINKRAFT Laboratories, a skincare brand that will design a skincare regimen focusing on your core issues while addressing some minor ones as well. Though it might not address all your skincare woes, if you have a lot but it will certainly do most of them. So basically, you go through a questionnaire and based on the responses the brand will show/recommend the products for you and if you are satisfied they will send those to you.
According to my responses to that questionnaire, I received a customized box. It had three products as part of my skincare regimen. I have been using these products for a couple of weeks now and I thought I would share my views on it.
About The Looks!
The products come blue containers with a white cap on it. All of the containers have a pump which is great! The containers have the logo, brand name, product name, directions, ingredients and more information printed on them. The products I received are –
- SKINKRAFT Laboratories Dark Spot Control Serum – De-Pigmenting
- SKINKRAFT Laboratories Barrier Repair Serum – Moisture+
- SKINKRAFT Laboratories Syndet Face Cleanser – Protect
Only the face fash doesn’t have a cap but has a removable attachment that doesn’t let the pump press down if it’s in your travel bag, hence, making it super travel-friendly.

My experience with the SKINKRAFT Laboratories Customised Skin Care Box!
SKINKRAFT Laboratories Dark Spot Control Serum – De-Pigmenting – I have a few dark spots on my face which has been a matter of concern for me for a couple of years. I hide them under makeup but I really aim to get rid of them in whichever way possible. This was my biggest concern along with the Melasma that I have which can’t really be controlled since it’s hormonal.
This dark spot control serum is for spot application only. The product is a transparent gel with a very light texture. I have been using this serum on my dark spots religiously, however, unfortunately, I haven’t seen any significant reduction in them. They might have become a tad bit lighter which can go unnoticed and I hope that if I continue using it for a month or two, I might see the visible difference. I do notice that my skin generally looks better than before.
I haven’t experienced any irritation, or problems with this product so far and I can say its safe for use but I hope to see some good results from this one a month or two down the line.
SKINKRAFT Laboratories Barrier Repair Serum – Moisture+ – This serum intends to provide instant hydration without being too greasy. It’s a lightweight formula for oily skin. I don’t really have oily skin but I like lightweight moisturizers. This is supposed to be applied after the dark spot control serum. One pump is enough for the entire face and neck. The serum is off-white in color and has a gel-like consistency and texture. It’s quite lightweight and gets absorbed instantly.
Now, it’s a serum and it does hydrate but in winters it is still not enough for my skin. I definitely need a layer of a hydrating cream on top of it. In summers, I believe it should be fine. I do feel my skin texture has improved a bit. It looks much clearer and healthy. It doesn’t look tired and dull as much. I really like the way it has been working on my skin and the way my skin feels.
SKINKRAFT Laboratories Syndet Face Cleanser – Protect – This cleanser is obviously the first step of the skincare regimen. The face wash is Syndet based which is great for sensitive skin. The product is a clear liquid that foams decently and cleans very effectively. This cleanser is my favorite out of the three. The best part is that even though it thoroughly cleans my skin it still does not leave it dry. It’s very gentle and its pH balanced formulation really helps my skin maintain its hydration levels. I really love this product! Highly recommended!
