Recently, there has been a rise in organic, herbal or cruelty free products with natural ingredients and this is really good! This is because of raised awareness in people about harmful chemicals and animal atrocities. I have been on a spree of trying such products recently. One of them is from TBC by Nature Natural Vitamin-E Super Hydrating Moisture Cream. It has been sometime that I have been using it and today I will share my review on it!
About The Looks!
The cream comes in a white tub/jar with a pink lid on it. The lid has the name of the brand, product and its key properties and the bottom of the jar has the price, ingredients, claims, shelf life, etc. The quality of the plastic is just average and nothing special. The packaging is very simple and basic. With a price such low I guess the packaging takes a back seat.
Price – 95/-

My views and thoughts about the TBC by Nature Natural Vitamin-E Super Hydrating Moisture Cream!
Now when you look at the label of this cream, you will see some amazing things, like Natural Vitamin – E, with Wheat Germ Oil, super hydrating moisture cream, fragrance free, SPF 15 and 24 hour long lasting, etc, etc. If you look at the picture under the claims section, you will see these and others. So does it delivers everything as promised? Let me take one by one.
The first and most highlighted thing is the Natural Vitamin – E. The ingredients do mention the vitamin but doesn’t mention the source, in case if it is natural. Anyway, I started applying the cream everyday in the morning after washing my face. It does gets absorbed quickly and does not makes my skin shiny, which I am happy about. Good thing it has SPF and it gives me sun protection at least for a couple of hours. When I Iooked at my skin after a week of using, I didn’t see a huge difference or actually not much of a difference. I don’t know if it will show something after a month or two months of regular use.
Next thing, Wheat germ oil. Yes, it is mentioned in the ingredients and this again has the same story as the natural Vitamin – E. I might have to wait for a little longer to see some good results from these good ingredients!
It also says Super Hydrating Moisture Cream. Now, my skin is a combination skin and in winters it becomes dry. I was really happy to see this on the label as I needed something like this for winters. It is hydrating but not greasy in texture. Its moderately light, but the hydration doesn’t stay all day. My skin starts to feel dry by evening and I have to reapply it, so the 24 hour long lasting claim, didn’t work on my skin.
Coming to the fragrance free part, well, it isn’t true as it has a very strong scent which kind of reminds of the creams that were used in the beauty parlors long ago. It has that parlor like peculiar scent, feels quite like chemical. When I looked at the ingredient list I saw Hyluronic acid, Sodium PCA and Peptides which sound like chemicals but can be obtained naturally as well. But one thing I don’t understand is that scent. Honestly I don’t like the scent, it reminds of those cheap creams used in the parlors back in the day. That is the biggest thing that I would like to change. SPF 15 is good but reapplication is needed every couple of hours if you want sun protection.
In short I would say that in a budget under 100, I think its a good option. First its organic and made with natural ingredients. It does hydrates but you might have to apply it again, if your skin is like mine. SPF is not much so you would need a sun screen separately if you want a good sun protection, or keep applying the same cream after every 2-3 hours. Try this cream if your budget is under hundred and if you are looking for an organic and natural product!
