Sigma has been coming up with a lot of new and revolutionary products recently. This time its no different. They recently launched a product which I was particularly very excited about. Its the Sigma Sigmagic Brushampoo. This product is a cleanser for makeup brushes and is made from 100% natural ingredients! Isn’t that amazing! I really wanted to try this out as I need something good and authentic to clean my makeup brushes that I love so much! So, today’s post is about my review on the new Sigmagic Brushampoo!
About The Looks!
Let me start my saying “I LOVE THE PACKAGING!!” It is beautiful! The product comes in a white cylindrical pump bottle packed securely in a white box. The best part of the packaging is the holographic print of the name on the box and the bottle. Look at the pictures and you will understand what I mean. The print sometimes looks as if nothing’s there, but once light falls on it; it shines and changes colors. Lovely! I also love the fact that it has a pump, because let us all accept how important the pump has been in the recent time! Super chic and classy and gorgeous packaging! Love it!

My experience with the Sigma Sigmagic Brushampoo!
So as the packaging says it is fragrance free. There is no scent and no color. Looks pretty much like water. The consistency is of course different than water, it is runny but you can feel a slight viscosity in its movement. If I compare it to a baby shampoo, the consistency is pretty close to that, but this is made from all natural ingredients like, virgin coconut oil, certified sustainable palm oil, which brings such a relief, as the chemicals harm your skin and brushes equally.
Now coming to its performance, some of the brushes for example, foundation brushes, especially the kabuki ones need an extra bit of effort and work. It is because of the amount of product build up in them. For my Sigma 3DHD Kabuki brush I had to wash it three times to get it absolutely clean. Rest of the brushes like my powder and blush brushes and even all of my eye brushes needed only a single wash to get them perfectly clean.
The Brushampoo foams amazingly well, if the brush does not have too much of a product. Otherwise, it foams in the next trip of wash. I used the Sigma Spa Express Cleaning Glove to clean all my brushes and that made the job even easier! Apart from the brushes I also tried this product on my Beauty Blender too. Again, it took me a lot of effort and time to clean the Beauty Blender, the reason in this case as well, was the product build up. Plus its a sponge, it absorbs the product in, so we have to literally squeeze it out. Well, I think I might have squeezed it pretty hard, that it cracked. It made me sad but I also noticed that my beauty blender was pretty clean, except for a couple of spots.
After all the brushes and the beauty blender dried up, I noticed that the brush fibers were amazingly soft and smooth as if they were new! I loved the fact that the Brushampoo did not just clean them but made them super soft and in this process it just increased the life of my precious and most loved brushes! Another thing that I noticed is that none of the brushes shed a single strand of hair/fiber and that was a big relief! This brushampoo is antimicrobial as well, which means no skin infections or problems! I am really happy with the performance and the results of this product and I am really happy to find such a product which will not only clean my brushes thoroughly but will give their life back to them. They will never look old, but will be as good as new!

I must say I am really happy with this product! Made from all natural ingredients with no preservatives, brings a big relief from the chemicals the brushes had been exposed to. First, it cleanses the brushes really well and is antimicrobial! Some of the brushes like the dense kabuki brushes might need some extra work, but the end result will be amazing! The eye brushes, powder brushes, etc were clean without much effort and in only one wash! Secondly, the fibers of all the brushes, be it natural or synthetic, were super soft and smooth! The brushes looked like new! The product just gave their life back to them! Guys! Highly recommend this to you all!
