I was really craving for small break but had no plans whatsoever. Then suddenly came an offer from one our friends and we jumped right in! Though I had always been scared of travelling in the hills during the monsoon or rainy season, but this time I wanted to go anyway. He had a plan of going to Kasauli and a short trip to Shimla. But then it got extended to Kufri and short trip to Chail.
I was stunned to see the beauty of the hills during the rainy season! It was extremely beautiful, pleasantly cold or cosy, the mist and the clouds were amazing! It was so lush green that even the walls were covered with green moss and vegetation!
Our stay was the cherry on top! The Whispering Winds Villa was absolutely gorgeous and the scenery around it was breathtaking! There was a dense forest behind and around the sides of the villa. In the front, downwards the hill was the track of the very famous Kalka – Shimla Toy Train! It was an ideal location, in the perfect weather and the perfect villa! We loved our stay there!
On Saturday we had a small birthday celebration, which we did in the beautiful outdoor location by tying streamers and balloons on the trees. We loved the way it looked!
Now coming to the outfit, I chose to wear my turtle neck dress from Topshop. It kept me warm but looked classy too! Paired them with red ballet flats keeping in mind the terrain. 🙂 I kept it very simple with no accessory. The make up included neutral eye makeup with red lipstick which went well with the dress colour. Below are the products used –
