Maybelline recently launched their Fit Me collection in India. The collection has been in the U.S. market since last year, but in India they have just been launched. I had heard a lot of good things about the Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless Foundation from the poeple in the U.S., so when it was launched here, I wanted to give it a try. I have used this foundation for about 3-4 times now and I am ready to review it.
About The Looks!
The foundation comes in a glass transparent bottle with a black twist open cap. The top of the cap has the shade number and name printed on it and one of its side it has the brand and the collection name printed. The same is printed on the bottle as well and the same side mentions “Normal to Oily skin” and the quantity at the bottom. Another side of the bottle has the claims and ingredients list. The price, shelf life and rest other information is on a small sticker pasted on one of the other sides of the bottle. The packaging is good and sturdy. Its not very attractive or different, but just okay.

My experience and views about this foundation!
I have a combination skin and Matte+Poreless is something that I would be really interested in and yes I was! I used this foundation for the first time in my recent vacation trip and surprisingly I was quite impressed with it! The first thing I was happy about is that the foundation has a yellow undertone which is awesome for most of the Indian skin tones, especially me. Coming to the application part, I have used this foundation using two techniques, the old school i.e., by hands or fingers and foundation brush (Sigma 3D HD Kabuki). Both the techniques have worked really great for me. It blends very nicely and is not very dry or dries quickly. However, I would say I love the finish and coverage more when brush was used.
I was and I am quite impressed with the coverage it provides! Its medium to high coverage depending on what technique you use! This has one of the best affordable foundations that I have come across. The coverage is build-able and looks pretty natural because of the yellow undertone and good formulation.
Finish is matte however, you would see a slight shine on the T-Zone of your face after 4-5 hours, which I didn’t mind because its not too much. It makes me look like I have glow-y skin! So, it certainly don’t grease you out. Just a blotting paper will solve that for you, if you don’t have a blotting paper handy, then use any tissue paper and that will do the job for you. It does make the pores a little less visible, kind of smooths out the skin and even out the skin tone.
Lasting power is amazing! It lasted me the whole day and by that I mean 8-9 hours and after that I have removed it. Haven’t worn this foundation any longer than that! It did not crease or flake or cake up! It was as fresh as before. I loved this part a lot! I was comparing the finish and look of this foundation with my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. Its quite similar.
Wearing this foundation here –
I Love Love Love this foundation!! I think that says all! This is one of the best affordable foundations I have ever come across!Totally worth the money and is such a game changer! Such natural, medium to high coverage, matte finish, and amazing lasting power! I highly recommend this foundation to everyone!
