Okay! This is the last one I have from the collection and I will be reviewing it today! Its the Maybelline Color Show Lipstick in the shade Red Rush! I have reviewed three shades from this collection already, if you have missed or want to check them out, click here, here and here.
About the Looks!
The lipstick comes in a black square tube packaging with rounded edges. The case is not sturdy and is of cheap quality. It attracts a lot of dust and gets easily scratched. There is a stripe of color between the bottom and the cap of the lipstick which is of the color of the lipstick. Its not very accurate but can tell which one is pink or fuchsia and which one is red. The bottom of the lipstick has a sticker of the color of the lipstick with the name of the brand, collection and shade name and number of the lipstick printed on it. The bottom can help better to locate the particular shade than the stripe provided.

My experience with this lipstick!
Again! The pigmentation is great and so the color! The color is a true bright blood red, absolutely beautiful! I really like the color a lot and a great pigmentation adds to its qualities!! One swipe and you get the desired color!
BUT! You really need to be careful with this lipstick while applying, because it smears very easily! It transfers a lot and on every thing! You might want to dust some translucent powder on top of it to get a matte effect. Although that’s totally up to you. The finish is again, the same, creamy, glossy, shimmery or pearly. As I have mentioned before as well, I don’t really like lipsticks with shimmery finish, but I think I can still work with it just because I love this color.
Lasting power is again not much, maximum 4 hours, that too without meals and drinks. It leaves a patchy stain behind, which I don’t like. Well, I do like stains, but not patchy ones. I put on a tinted lip balm on top of it, to make it look a little better and presentable, if I cannot reapply it somehow.
It smells fruity, but tastes like chemical. Not good. The lipstick does not feathers! So you may want to use a lip liner underneath to increase the lasting power, but you may skip it as well, if you are just worried about it feathering.
Overall, I do like this lipstick. Its affordable with great pigmentation and color. For people who want to start with bold colors like red, but don’t want to invest a lot initially, can go for this one. I don’t like the glossy, shimmery finish, however, if you do, its the best in the price!!
