Today I will be reviewing another glitter nail paint for you all and its the Maybelline Colour Show Go Graffiti in Lucky Lavender. I have already reviewed the shade Green Graffiti from the same collection, here.
About The Looks!
The nail paint comes in a round transparent bottle with a black cap. The cap has all the information like the name of the brand, collection and shade printed. There is a sticker as well on the cap which has the bar code and the price. One side of the bottle has other general information and shelf life printed. The packaging is simple yet sturdy. The brush is not too wide or small, its just okay. Though I would have preferred a little denser brush.

My views about Lucky Lavender!
Color and Glitter – The nail paint looks really pretty in the bottle. You can see the soft pastel like shimmery lavender nail paint with big and small yellow-gold round glitter particles. I love the lavender with yellow-gold glitter, it is really a good combination. Subtle yet beautiful.
Pigmentation- The first coat of the nail paint is quite sheer. You see a slight colour on the nails but glitter chunks start packing on. It looks like the colour of your healthy nails coated with a transparent glitter nail paint. If you wish you could leave it like that or go ahead and paint another coat which will give a good opaque finish and more glitter. The colour still looks like the colour of healthy nails just darker. I like the colour turn out but I would loved if it was little more brighter. I love bright nails and rarely wear nude or soft shades. But for people who love soft glitter and subtle shades, its a great pick for you!!
Formulation – The formula is pretty good as its not gooey or sticky, it dries fairly fast. Even when working with layers it won’t streak. That is really great!
Lasting Power – It lasted me good 4 days with a top coat without any chipping. On the fifth day I saw some chipping. Three coats and a top coat might increase the lasting power, if you are comfortable with these number of coats on your nails.
- Apply generous amount of the nail paint while applying the first and second layer and do let each coat dry, before you move to the next one. It dries pretty fast so it won’t be very long.
- Apply a base coat so that taking the nail paint off (especially glitter) won’t be too bothering and don’t forget to apply the top coat so that the glitter doesn’t feel gritty and get stuck in your hair, clothes and pretty much everywhere and it would also increase the lasting power of the same!
- You can also apply any plain pastel lavender colour on your nails as a base and then coat with this glitter paint. This will make the glitter pop even more and the colour will also look prettier.
I like this nail paint but just wish that it was little more brighter and pigmented. The colour is certainly pretty and anyone who likes soft pastel colours, can go for this. This nail paint can also be used in a lot of nail arts and this adds to its versatility. The glitter adds a little glamour to an otherwise softer and subtle colour. I certainly recommend this to everyone!
