Sometimes I hate the idea of limited collection and the sole reason for this is that whenever I go to buy they are sold out! Like duh!! WTH! The same thing happened to me when I went to get some products from the recently launched Limited Edition MAC Flamingo Park Collection, everything was sold out except for just one lipstick, that I consider myself lucky to get hold of! It was Flocking Fabulous. I did get a few more products which you can check out in the haul post here. I have been using this lipstick since the day I got it several times and today I will share my thoughts about the same!
About The Looks!
The lipstick comes in MAC’s usual classic black casing and the box which has the name of the shade and all the other information. I always liked MAC’s packaging, they seldom change it and somehow it has become their trademark!

My thoughts about Flocking Fabulous!
Flocking fabulous is a very pretty coral shade, it looks that there is an equal amount of pink and red/orange colors mixed to make such a beautiful shade. On application you will see that it sometimes look more pink and sometimes quite orange. I love the shade for spring and summers. The lipstick is Cremesheen, which is also mentioned on the packaging. It’s quite apt, as the lipstick’s texture is super creamy and buttery and is intensely hydrating. My lips stays soft and moisturized for quite long! It has quite a bit of sheen. There is no visible shimmer in it but it shines more or less like a gloss. I usually stay away from shiny lipsticks and this is may be the second shiny lipstick that I own. But I kinda like this one a lot. It certainly looks pretty on me, I never thought it would. Somehow shiny lipsticks makes my face look dull, but this does not.
Formula is pretty awesome, it applies evenly and there are no streaks, flakiness or patchiness. It applies smoothly and evenly. The pigmentation is great! One swipe and you get the color which can be intensified a little more with another layer. It has some fruity scent to it which lingers for a few minutes and then goes away. Lasting power is average, given to its creamy texture. It stays pretty well with just snacks or drinks for a long time (6 hours or more), but once you have a full heavy meal the lipstick will disappear. Though it leaves a very faint tint on the lips. It starts feathering very tiny bit around the edges of the lips after around 4 hours of wear so you would need a lip liner to prevent that from happening.
Overall I really like this lipstick. The color, pigmentation and the shade makes it a good pick. Lasting power being a little on the downside but I still can ignore that. I carry the lipstick around for retouches. I don’t know if this lipstick is still available. But if you can get hold of it, do get it. It will compliment every skin tone!
