Today I am back with a review of another product from the L’Oréal Paris Cannes Collection 2015 and that is the L’Oréal L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche in the shade Coral Encore!! This is the first I have in my collection, I already had a few Moist Matte and the Intense lipsticks, but never any lip gloss or liquid lipstick from this brand. I used this one in “My Gloss Look” post here.
About the Looks!
It comes in a gold packaging with a big rectangular shaped color code on it. The bottom part is broader than the top one, i.e. the cap. The top of the cap has the L’Oréal Paris logo and the bottom has the shade name and number written. It was covered with a plastic film which had all the information like ingredients, price, net content, etc. I like the packaging, its classy, gold and sturdy. The cap is a twist up and ensures no product leakage. The wand has a doe foot applicator which I really like.
Price – INR 950
Net Content – 5.5 ml
Ingredients – Please refer to the picture below. Sorry for the bad image, it was really tough to click the picture of the ingredients printed on the plastic film. Funny thing is that the list is not available on the brand website.
Shelf Life – 36 months
My views and experience with Coral Encore!
I love coral colors and shades and when I saw the name was Coral Encore, I got quite excited! The first time I tried was in “My Gloss Look” post I did earlier and I actually quite liked it! The Color is a very pretty coral color, not too pigmented as a liquid lipstick but still pretty good for a gloss. Once the glossy part is gone, it surprisingly leaves a strong stain behind and boy, it won’t come off with soap, forget about water. You need a pretty good make up remover to get this tough guy off your lips!!
Below are the swatches of the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Moist Mat Lipstick in the shade Glamor Fuchsia|Review|Swatches that I reviewed here and L’Oréal L’Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick by Color Riche in the shade Coral Encore.
The gloss has shimmer in it which is clearly visible in the swatch on the hand but on lips it will be visible only if you look close enough. It has a very pretty glossy finish and is not much sticky. Applies evenly and gives a very pretty coral flush on the lips. The doe foot applicator helps apply the product precisely around the outlines and inner corners of the lips. The formula is neither very thick nor very runny, its just good! I like it! But it transfers and bleeds, which is a problem with not just this, but majority of lip glosses. So I can live with it! 🙂
Lasting power is average, since its more of a gloss, it starts fading away after about 3-4 hours and then only a very pretty stain is left behind, which will stay until you remove it with a make up remover.
Overall, I feel that its a pretty good gloss for a wash of color on your lips. It doesn’t feel sticky or messy and the color is the best part! I feel its a little over-priced, but you won’t regret buying it though. I do recommend this to anyone who like glosses!
