I have been using the Iraya Nourishing Hair Masque with 11 Herbs since a few weeks now. This product was primarily made for monsoon hair care. As we all know monsoon plays a big havoc on our hair and managing them is really tough for me. I experience a lot of hair loss during monsoon every year along with dry, dull and frizzy hair. I have been looking for a remedy every year but haven’t found anything great. I mostly rely on home or natural remedies during that season. So I tired this product hoping that it might have a solution to my hair problems I face during monsoon and today I will be reviewing this for you.
About The Looks!
The masque comes a in a transparent round plastic jar with a silver lid. The jar has the name of the brand, product, price, ingredients and all the other information printed. Its very simple. Nothing too special about it but somehow I like the jar packaging, they look really rustic and earthy to me.

My experience with the Hair Masque with 11 Herbs!
The masque is creamy and the color is somewhere in between off white and creamy white. On opening the jar you can smell the extremely sweet smell of the masque. It smells something that I can’t remember but something as if an Indian dessert is mixed with something non edible. I really don’t know how to describe it, but personally I don’t like the smell, people might really love it, but I don’t!
The texture of the masque is quite creamy but not very thick. Its soft and yet rich and if you tilt the jar, you would see it flow. Its not runny but it might spill.
Let’s get to its performance. The masque is supposed to be applied directly after shampooing and to be left for 2 – 5 minutes. for better results, wrap a warm towel on your head and later just rinse it off. As per the claims, scalp should feel more comfortable and the hair should be easy to manage. One thing I noticed was that on applying it on the hair it is not greasy or oily, its pretty light! Make sure that there is not much water in your hair or the product will slip away. After 5 minutes I rinse out the product thoroughly and wrap a towel before air drying. After another 5 minutes I remove the towel which has now absorbed all the excess water in my hair and just let them dry. I do notice that my hair feels softer and manageable. I would say that they become better than before. The frizz didn’t go completely but was less than before.
I thought that may be after some repeated uses the results would be better. So the next time I washed my hair, I applied coconut oil the night before with some good massage, to make sure my hair was not extremely dry. Next day I applied the masque after shampooing and repeated the same steps as before. The results were the same actually, there was not much of difference. The reason could be that my hair texture is extremely dry and this product was just enough for my hair. For people who have little to moderate frizz, can certainly go with this product. It will certainly tame it and make hair manageable for them. I will still try some more different methods to see how this product could work, as I am not giving up on it and if I see any difference and if my opinion changes I will come back with a mini review of this product for sure. The reason I have hopes from this masque is because its made of all natural ingredients and somehow I don’t feel they could go wrong.
The product helped my hair to an extent but wasn’t enough. Being a dancer my hair goes through a lot of sweat, dirt, pollution and what not. The product is not bad but I need something extra. I will try different combinations with the masque and hope that it might work next time. Fingers crossed. If you have little to moderate frizz in your hair, you could certainly go with this product.
