As much as I love beauty and make up I love skin care too!! I always try and take care of my skin as much as I can both in the form of diet and skin care regime. Recently when I was at the Innisfree store launch event in Gurgaon which I posted about here, I got this product which I never tried before. Its the Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Serum. I have been using it for a few weeks now and I have a review to share! So let’s get started!
About the Looks!
I should start by saying that I am absolutely in love with the packaging!! Its so pretty, cute, convenient, hassle free and sturdy!! The serum bottle comes in a green box which has the name of the brand and the product, claims, ingredients, price, quantity, etc all listed. The bottle is a super pretty green translucent bottle, with a dark green cap with a slightly lighter green pump. Yes! It has a pump!! 😀 The best part is the translucent pump cap, its an amazing way to keep the product from getting pumped out in your bag while travelling, also it prevent the air going in to an extent. Its a very small one, but its very user friendly. I personally love it!! The information printed on the box and bottle is mostly in Korean and some in English. But it covers everything necessary we need to know.

My views and experience with this serum!
Serum has runny consistency and feels like oil when you first touch and feel it, but when you start massaging it on the face its not oily at all! It feels like a super hydrating moisturizer which has watery texture. Its difficult to explain, but in short it feels amazingly light and not oily on your skin and provides really awesome hydration to the skin. I am really impressed on how much it keeps my skin moisturized all day!! Its certainly good for all skin types and for all seasons too. Its light texture won’t be a problem for oily skin and in summers and its great hydration properties will be great for dry skin and in winters too.
My skin is glowing for sure and looks pretty healthy, but I am not very sure if its due to this serum as I have changed my diet and I have other skin care products I use. There are no dramatic changes to notice after I started using it except for the fact that it really keeps my skin moisturized all day. I love this fact. Also well moisturized skin keeps wrinkles at bay, so that, along with the anti-oxidants present in the serum, should do the job. For that we need to wait and watch.
On the point of clear complexion, the same thing I mentioned above, applies. I have to wait and see if there is some improvement using this product. I will do a mini review once I have used it up completely to let you know if the product has been any better than I had mentioned or if it was the same.
To wrap it up I think its a great moisturizing serum and the dry skin beauties can certainly go for it. Girls in their 20s should opt for this at this will keep their skin fresh, hydrated and glowing. Given the fact that this serum comes in such a reasonable price as compared to the other serums in the market, it is a great deal. Can’t say much about anti-aging and it doesn’t claims it either, but anyone can give it a try.
