Along with the Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream (reviewed here), I have also been trying out the Orchid Massage Cream. This is the first time I have used a massage cream, I was a little skeptical about how will it perform or behave with my skin. I now have all the answers and today I will be sharing my experience with you all!
About The Looks!
The packaging is absolutely similar to the Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream, the only difference being the product name. The jar comes in a box with a very unique folding lid (refer to the picture). This box is in the combination of white and purple color inspired by the color of the Jeju orchid. The jar is of the same purple color with a cap of deep eggplant color. The jar has a glossy finish and the cap has matte. I really like this pastel kind of color scheme, looks refreshing and pretty!! The packaging is light yet sturdy.

My experience with the Orchid massage Cream!
I followed the directions to use the cream as I really had no idea on how to use it. The directions are –
How to use
1. After applying toner, massage the cream into your skin.
2. After massaging, gently remove excess cream with a tissue or hot towel, or rinse with lukewarm water.
I have always used this cream before bedtime as my night time skin care routine, but not daily, only three times a week. I chose to wipe out the excess cream with a soft tissue, so that the cream is still there on my skin and expecting it to do a lot good during my sleep time.
The texture and color of this cream is very similar to the orchid eye cream, but its not light. This is a massage cream and hence on rubbing it gives a super rich and greasy shine. The greasiness helps the fingers glide on your face easily to give a nice massage. After 5 minutes or so, the cream starts to get less greasy and then you might chose to take more and continue massaging or you may stop and wipe the excess out. I generally massage with two finger scoops of the cream and the wipe the excess off with a soft tissue. By this most of the greasiness is gone, the cream can still be felt on the skin but not as a heavy massage cream. I leave it overnight.
The next morning I saw no surprise bumps or greasiness. The skin looked fresh and alive. Even after using three times a week it was gentle on my skin and there was no irritation or redness or break outs. I was happy with this a lot! The skin felt smoother and youthful after washing the face. I certainly feel that massaging, which increases the blood circulation on your face helps provide inner nourishment and the cream that I left overnight gave all the anti-aging benefits. Every morning my face a had a soft glow which I really loved. The cream does have a very soft floral fragrance which is not bothering at all.
I never thought I would use any massage cream so religiously in my skin care routine. I didn’t get bored or fed up with it, though my hands do feel bad after that sort of mini workout. Hehehehe I have noticed a lot of skin benefits of massaging and of this particular massage cream. The richness of the cream provides nourishment to the skin when I leave it overnight, but remember to wipe out the excess! It behaves really good with my skin and the glow that comes the next morning makes it all worth!! I would certainly recommend trying this one out to all of you!
