Winter is one of my favorite times of the year but it brings its own set of problems. Dry skin, chapped lips, and cracked heels! I have always been covering the first two areas of concern but today I am going to cover the last one and one of the biggest concerns of many people in winters! I have an extremely dry skin and though I hydrate and moisturize my heels every day, my heels still get a few cracks not very deep or bad but such that it doesn’t look good. For this problem, I started using the Himalaya Wellness Foot Care Cream. I have been using it for more than a couple of weeks now and today I will share my experience with this!
About The Looks!
The cream comes in a white tube with a green cap packed in a white box which has the turmeric flowers printed on. The box has an orange colored flap with the turmeric flowers and the name of the product and claims printed on. The main box has all the information printed. The brand’s name, product’s name, quantity, ingredients, shelf life, etc. The packaging is recyclable which is great. The tube also has the same information. The packaging is simple and nice. It’s sturdy and good quality. The orange flap adds a little bit of attractiveness to it. 🙂

My views and thoughts about the Himalaya Wellness Foot Care Cream!
The cream is ashy brown in color or I can say it looks like fuller’s earth. It smells really good and something like an Indian or traditional “Lep”. The consistency is pretty thick and spreads evenly. It gets absorbed quickly but also creates a thick film on the heels which is very important. This film actually helps retain the moisture while the cream absorbed is busy healing the cracked heels.
The cream has turmeric as the key and important ingredient, which is known for it’s medicinal and healing properties. I believe along with this and some other ingredients the in cream like honey, worked on my heels and within a week I saw the difference. My heels were visibly softer and the cracks were almost gone! For mildly cracked heels like mine, a week is enough and if you continue using it, you won’t get the cracks back. However, for severely or badly cracked heels, I believe it might take more than a week. It totally depends on the condition of the heels.
I would recommend you wearing socks after applying the cream as it protects the feet from getting dirty and increases the effect of the cream a lot! Apply it in the morning and before going to bed after cleaning them with lukewarm water and pat drying them. Not only heels, you can and should use it on the entire foot for best results! One more thing, I would recommend you not to stop using it even after your heels come to normal. Winters are harsh and it’s better to protect and nourish them throughout the entire season.
