Finally!! After a long time being sick I am back on my work. My health has been topsy turvy this whole month and finally after a lot of doctor’s visits I am recovering.
So along with the Garnier Skin Naturals White Complete Face Wash (reviewed here), I had been using the Garnier Skin Naturals White Complete Multiaction Fairness Cream with SPF 19 PA +++, since a couple of weeks. Just like face wash I am using a cream from this brand after a lot of years. Do I like it? Well let’s find out!

My views and experience with this cream!
When I received the cream in the packet I saw that it had leaked and deposited outside the jar, you can see that in the picture. So I thought the cream would have somewhat runny or flowy kind of consistency, but when I opened the jar it was nothing like that. The cream seemed quite thick and firm, such that if you turn the jar upside down it still won’t move! Anyways, the consistency of the cream is very thick as I mentioned earlier, it feels more like a powdery paste. When its applied it dries super fast, you have to work a little faster to make sure it spreads evenly all over.
I love the citrus or lemony scent the cream has! Its very fresh and doesn’t smells like chemical. With SPF 19 and PA +++ with protection from both UVA and UVB it does provide a great protection from the sun for a couple of hours. The texture of the cream is like that of a physical sunscreen but it is a chemical sunscreen. The cream definitely protects from further tanning and pigmentation caused due to sun and if the cream is reapplied after every couple of hours it helps skin to get rid of all the dark spots and uneven skin tone. The presence of Salicylic acid makes sure that my skin doesn’t break out and another good thing is that there are no parabens in the cream!!
The cream is good for getting even skin tone and protection from harmful sun rays and that’s it! It has no hydration what so ever. You need to use a moisturizer or hydrating cream underneath this one to keep your skin hydrated. I have a combination skin and so far it has not been bad for my skin, no break outs or irritation. I am not sure about its performance on the oily skin, but dry and combination skin beauties can use it along with a good moisturizer or a hydrating serum underneath.
In my view the cream provides great protection from sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays with its SPF 19 and PA+++. But you would need to keep reapplying it after every 2 hours in the day time in order to get the claimed results. The ingredients indicate the presence of chemical sunscreen which will certainly protect the skin from further damage and make it look much brighter and even toned. The hydration part is a problem though since it can be too dry for many. Using a good hydrating serum or moisturizer on your face before applying this cream will certainly help. That’s how I used it and it caused no problems at all. No clogged pores or skin irritation and so far skin friendly. If you are looking for a cream with less hydrating and more sun protection properties, this is the one for you!
