I have a dream of hoarding or in better words owning every eyeshadow palette in the world! This seems nearly impossible for now, but I am trying my best to get my hands on as much as I can! 🙂 The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette was in my most desired palettes list and when I got it I was honestly on cloud 9! I mentioned getting this palette in my Haul post here, if you want to check out what else I got! 😀 I have been using this pretty thing since a few months now and I wanted to share my experience with it!
About The Looks!
The palette comes packed in a very prettily designed pink box which has the name of the brand and the product on the front side and the name and color of the shades of eye shadows at the back. See picture for reference. The ingredients are listed on one of the sides of the box. The palette inside looks exactly like a chocolate bar! The color, the shape, everything! The packaging is of metal and has a good sized mirror inside. On the bottom of the mirror Chocolate Bar is printed in a very cute font. Love Love Love the packaging!!

My experience with the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette!
As soon as the palette is opened, you can smell chocolate!! Yummm!! Of course I wouldn’t eat it, but it surely makes me crave for a good chocolate therapy! Hehehehe 😀 Coming back to the palette, there are a total of 16 eye shadows. A combination of matte and shimmery, neutral and colors and dark and light.
Out of all the eye shadows White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Triple Fudge, Salted Caramel, Semi Sweet and Strawberry Bon Bon are matte shadows and rest of them are shimmery. In terms of pigmentation White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Strawberry Bon Bon are on the lighter side. Milk chocolate is still better and I love it as a transition shade and I use white chocolate as highlighting shade or base shadow. Strawberry Bon Bon looks so pretty in the palette but is not very pigmented and a little disappointing. This is the only shade which doesn’t turn up to my expectations. Its so light that its barely visible on its own. You would need a good eye shadow primer and a white base to make its visibility better on the eyes.
Rest of all the shades have excellent pigmentation and since the texture is quite buttery they are easily blendable. Champagne Truffle is a beautiful shimmery shade great for brow highlighting, inner corners and just as an overall lid shadow too! Its beautiful! Marzipan is my another favorite and go to shade, its a beautiful rose gold shadow which looks extremely beautiful! Cherry Cordial is not straight up shimmery but is not totally matte either. It has shimmer but very subtle. Each and every shade is amazing in its own way and you can play with them in different combinations!
I love the fact that most of them are warm toned shades as I personally gravitate towards them. There are few cool toned shades which again are pretty wearable and looks good on me too! I love this palette because of its versatility. It gives a choice between shimmery and matte shades as well as neutral and colorful ones. This is my go to palette since the day I got it. I can think of so many looks which can be created using this single eye shadow palette!
I absolutely love this palette! It has such beautiful shades which are versatile as well! The texture is amazing and the pigmentation of most of the shadows is excellent. It is my go to palette since a long time now and I highly recommend this to everyone. Do get it if you can!
