Juxtaposing its 10th anniversary in India, naturally-inspired global beauty brand The Body Shop unveils a fresh new design at its ‘ASIA FIT STORE’, Galleria Market, Gurugram. I am really glad to say that I was a part of the launch and got to experience the store and much in person.
The store exuberates the splendor of nature through its ambience and opulence. With this store, the brand offers a heightened personalized customer experience through unique display of products and experiential zone which ensures to uplift the sensorial experience of any customer.
Celebrating 40 years of conducting business as a force for good, The Body Shop has globally launched its Enrich Not Exploit™ Commitment, which is the beginning of their aim to be the world’s most ethical and truly sustainable global business. The Commitment underpins all aspects of The Body Shop’s business and comprises 14 measurable targets to meet by 2020, under three key pillars – Enrich our People, Enrich our Planet and Enrich our Products.
Through these targets they are strengthening our Community Trade programme through which they trade fairly with farmers and suppliers, and involving customers in their campaign to protect and restore bio-diversity all over the world.
The Body Shop India’s first Asia Fit Store is a wonderful way to bring our Commitment to life for their customers. They have always been recognised for the positive values they embody, so they’ve increased the spotlight on their iconic products as well as the fine ingredients and communities they work with.
The new store adds to The Body Shop’s repertoire of ethically and sustainably-produced quality products with new bespoke elements that allow for even more personalised consultations that the brand is known and loved for. Its probably the biggest store in Gurugram and as soon as you enter the store you can feel the difference. There were different sections in the store highlighting their key elements and ingredients of which the products are made from.
The one section I had a lovely experience with, was the spa section. There is mini sink where you are given a personalised experience of the spa products or any for that matter. I chose to indulge in the luxurious spa experience. I was explained everything about the product and its function. You can feel the product performance there and then. No surprises! Consultation based on your needs or skin type is given.
The Body Shop Asia Fit Store in India is the third store in the world after Japan and Singapore to showcase new design elements that help create a more inviting ambience for consumers. Wood furniture made from FSC – certified timber in natural oak finish and a warmer colour palette accompany a “hanging garden” ceiling raft which brings consumers back to the brand’s roots. I must say that the hanging garden was one of the best parts in its decor! It feels no close to nature and earthy! Loved it!
I think I am going to go to this store more now, for its closer to my house as well! But above all, its the most wonderful out of all! You need to go there to experience for yourself to believe all what I have said.
