I like coloring my hair, though I stay in mostly a non-experimental zone, but I still try and choose a color that is a little different than just natural brown. I have been coloring my hair since a few years and I either go for a wine shade or a reddish brown shade (which I love). This time I colored my hair using the newly launched BBlunt Salon Secret High Shine Creme Hair Colour in Honey, which is a light golden brown color. I sure was excited about this hair color and today I am going to share my views about it with you all!
About The Looks!
The Most chic packaging ever! I love the colors on the box, the font in which the names are printed and the reflector in front is super! Its not just good from outside, but from inside too. It comes with three tubes inside and I really love they way they have been designed! The blue and white color combination is superb! The quality of the tube plastic is great! All in all I love the packaging! It will be noticeable and eye catching from a distance!

My views and thoughts about the BBlunt Salon Secret High Shine Creme Hair Colour in Honey!
The box comes with three squeezy tubes inside, a pair of gloves and an instruction leaflet. The white in color and the biggest squeezy tube is a Developer, Smaller than that but blue in color tube is the Colorant and the smallest tube is the Shine Tonic. All of these are supposed to be mixed together in a non-metal bowl and before doing this wearing the gloves is advised. The mixture turned in to a light brown color and the paste was quite creamy in texture. The consistency was very good, it wasn’t runny but it wasn’t very thick either.
The major thing I noticed is that this color had no bad or stingy odor at all! This was super amazing for me! I have tried other colors and they have a very strong odor in their colors and it lasts for quite a long time! But this one, was completely odor free. This probably could be because it is Ammonia free. I fell in love with it this very moment! I applied the color in all my hair and roots by parting them in sections. The coloring part was very easy and no dripping or spotting happened. I had to leave the color for 30 minutes.
Now, after 30 minutes, I was supposed to add some water and emulsify the color for about 5 minutes and the rinse it off and then shampoo and condition the hair. This was the first time I ever came across a color that asked to shampoo and condition the hair after coloring them. I have used a lot of hair colors and none of them asks you to shampoo them right after, some of them even specifically asks you not to! This was surprising for me, but I didn’t mind it at all! I followed the directions and emulsified the color and rinsed it off. After rinsing I noticed that my hair became a little rough, I don’t know why and I still don’t understand why that happened, but moved on to the next step anyway and shampooed my hair. I noticed the difference immediately! The hair became softer than before and after conditioning them they became even better! All I can guess is that the formula of the color may be requires the hair to be shampooed for better results and even after doing that, I lost no color from my hair!
Yes, my hair were evenly colored and the color was looking great! After my hair was all dry, I saw how shiny and silky my hair was! I guess the shine tonic really worked! I loved how the hair became lighter than before and in some parts even the true color showed up! I was really happy with the color. The color turned out to be very nice and quite close to the color shown on the box on my crown and top part of my head. Rest of my hair is very dark brown so the the color did make them lighter than before but I wasn’t expecting them to get super light either. The Box shows you the result on different hair colors. So if you have naturally dark brown hair, the light color will not be super light, but will certainly lighten them a little than before. I have quite a few grey hairs and the color covered them absolutely great! In fact the color shows up extremely nice where I have grey hair 🙂
I will prefer to use this color at home more than any! I loved the results of this shade and I can’t wait to try out the Wine, Mahogany and Blueberry shades from the range! The part of this color is that it has no strong and stingy odor! It is easy to apply and the shine tonic makes your hair really shine! Though I was scared when my hair felt rough after rinsing, but shampooing and conditioning right after was the key step to ensure the silkiness of the hair comes back! I didn’t notice any damage to my hair and that could be credited to formula without ammonia! I highly recommend you to try out the BBlunt Hair colors! You won’t be disappointed!
